At Christie and Associates, the health and well-being of our clients and employees is our top priority. We are actively monitoring updates regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following precautions and guidelines provided by the CDC and public officials. With that said we are still here to serve all of your insurance needs and are committed to providing quality service to our clients and business partners through this tough time.
Below are some resources that we hope will help you in navigating this situation. We will do our best to keep the most current information available here on the status of the virus itself, information related to insurance coverage, as well as resources available to families and businesses as the impacts of the outbreak are felt. We urge you to contact us about any information you do not see listed here.
We are recommending our clients communicate with us/their insurance company based on the following guidelines:
Policy Services (Policy Changes, Coverage Questions, etc)
Please communicate with your C&A representative directly. The majority of our agents are available to assist you remotely. If you do not have direct contact information for your agent, please call the office or contact us through the website and someone will get back to you right away.
Billing and Claims
Due to the effects of the outbreak, many companies are adjusting billing and claims handling guidelines to offer some help to families and business who are impacted. Because each insurance company is handling this differently, we are recommending customers communicate directly with their insurance carrier directly for most billing and claims related issues.
Billing – Many companies are offering flexibility where needed. If you are in a situation where you need assistance, please contact your carrier’s billing department.
Claims – We urge you to discuss any questions around a potential claim with your agent prior to reporting it; however, we recommend filing your claim directly with the carrier for the most prompt attention.
